Miri and Hannah's best first ever (by Thom)

From time to time I've mentioned my love for all things baseball. Besides our friends and family the two things I miss in Africa more than anything else are Dr Pepper and baseball. I like National League ball better but my favorite team is the Detroit Tigers and Curtis Granderson and Placido Polanco are my two favorite players these days. I mention all this because of all the important firsts for our babies (first crawling, first steps, first teeth, first words, etc) they recently had their most important 'first' - their first baseball game! We went to Comerica Park on May 1st and saw the Tigers come from behind to beat the Baltimore Orioles in the 9th inning. The girls did great sitting through the whole game. The next week we went to a game in Minnesota and appropriately enough the "Twins" won the game, this time with a walk-off home run in the 10th inning.
