We've lived in Africa since 2005. Our first four years were spent serving from Bamako, Mali. In 2006 we welcomed Miriam & Hannah into our family. In 2009 we moved from Mali to Dakar, Senegal, joining the regional office. Thom serves as a bookkeeper for several fields and Amanda keeps busy managing the guest house for missionaries passing through Dakar. We like to define our role in the mission as being "servants to the servants", as we get to enable other missionaries to do their roles to the fullest through our behind-the-scenes work.
